 The Badlands lives up to it's name as one of the most challenging golf adventures in Las Vegas. The Badlands’ holes wind through the natural desert washes of the northwest desert forcing golfers to hit accurate golf shots throughout the round. As course designer Johnny Miller says, “The Badlands is an E-ticket ride at Disneyland,” and golfers will experience some of the most intriguing holes in Las Vegas. The 27 holes at Badlands are known for their dramatic shot values. The Badlands was named Best of Las Vegas in 1998 by a readers’ poll in the Las Vegas Review-Journal. In 1997, Golf Digest named it among Nevada’s top 10 golf courses.
Badlands does not close during overseeding. The course consits of three 9-hole courses, Outlaw, Diablo and Desperado, 2 of which will always be open during overseeding. |

| Aerification
and Overseeding |
|
Most golf clubs in Las Vegas overseed their courses once a
year. During this approximately 2 week period the course is
closed. For a period of one to two weeks after overseeding,
course traffic is restricted to carts only. Aerification will
span a one to three day period. The course does not close for
aerification.

| Golf Instruction at the Badlands |
Clif Vanetti - Director of Instruction
Clif Vanetti, a Class A member of the PGA of America, is the
Director of Instruction at the Badlands. Clif is an accomplished
player and instructor and he is also involved in the Southwest
Section education and junior golf programs. Clif enjoys teaching
all types of players and has had success with players of all
levels. Clif has studied under some of the greatest teachers
in the industry, including Mike LaBauve and Tim Mahoney, both
ranked among the Top 50 Teachers in America by Golf Digest.
