Rio Secco Golf Club is an 18 hole championship golf course designed by Rees Jones. Rolling across 240 acres of rugged desert and seated over 800 feet above Las Vegas the course offers panoramic views of the Las Vegas Valley and the surrounding desert and mountains. Players are challenged as the course winds its through the steep canyons and arroyos and tops out on high plateaus. The Butch Harmon School of Golf is located at Rio Secco and offers one to three day golf schools with Butch and his staff as well as individual Private instruction. Harmon`s star pupil, Tiger Woods currently holds the Rio Secco course record of 64. Rio Secco was voted among the Top Ten New Courses by Golf Digest, Top Ten New Courses You Can Play by Golf Magazine.

Rio Secco was named the 6th best course in Nevada in the 2001 issue of Golf Digest, and voted the # 1 public access course in Nevada by the Las Vegas PGA along with many other awards
Rio Secco lays at the foothills of the Black Mountain Range about 15 minutes southeast of the Las Vegas Strip. Rio Secco can play to over 7,400 yards and very difficult, but also offers four teeing grounds to allow golfers of any skill level a memorable golf experience.

year. During this approximately 2 week period the course is
closed. For a period of one to two weeks after overseeding,
course traffic is restricted to carts only. Aerification will
span a one to three day period. The course does not close for
aerification.
